Simbu's not doing Govindaya Namaha Tamil Remake



Pavan Wadeyar's Govindaya Namaha, which starred Komal and Parul Yadav is high on demand for remakes. Manchu Manoj was open to do the movie in Telugu after he saw the Kannada version and made Pavan himself direct the film titled as Potugadu in Telugu. With the storyline and songs making the film a hit in Telugu, there were rumours that Dhanush would do the Tamil remake of the film. However, the latest news is that Simbu has been approached to do the Tamil remake of Govindaya Namaha, who even recorded for a peppy number for the Telugu version. It has also been reported that a new director will be roped into direct the Tamil version as Pavan his busy with his own film. But when we contacted Simbu, he said that he is not doing the Tamil version. "No, I am not doing the film and I haven't even seen the film yet.More over, I have no dates for a while as well," says Simbu. The actor is currently gearing up for the release of Vaalu, which has Hansika Motwani as the female lead. The film also marks the debut of Kannada actor Aditya, who plays the villain in Vaalu. "The producers are looking for a solo release and that's the reason why the audio function has been put on hold. The film is likely to hit the screens on late December or January," informs Simbu.
