Simbu aka STR seems to be romancing on phone in his upcoming Pandiraj’s untitled film, who has earlier waited for Trisha near gate in Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya.“In VTV all the time I was standing near the gate .... In Pandiraj film all the time I'm on the phone. Phone conversations between the lovers will b a big highlight in Pandiraj film ... Lot of people will definitely relate to it,” tweeted Simbu.National award winning director Pandiraj has joined twitter and his first post is regarding STR’s yet-to-be-titled film, “Night shooting is goin on well with @iam_STR . completed three scenes ! very happy !

தற்போது பாண்டிராஜின் படத்தில் நடித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் சிம்பு, அந்தப் படம் முடியும் முன்பே கவுதம் மேனன் படத்திலும் நடிக்கிறார்.
ஏற்கெனவே கவுதம் மேனனும் சிம்புவும் இணைந்து விண்ணைத் தாண்டி வருவாயா என்ற வெற்றிப் படத்தைத் தந்தனர். அந்தப் படத்துக்கும் ரஹ்மான்தான் இசையமைத்தார். இப்போது மீண்டும் அதே கூட்டணி தொடர்கிறது...!

Gautham Menon directs STR before Ajith
Post Suriya opted out of Dhruva Natchathiram, ace filmmaker Gautham Menon has confirmed his next with Thala Ajith, but before starting Ajith’s 55th film director seems to be planning a quickie with Simbu in the lead.We hear, Vinaithaandi Varuvaaya combo of Gautham Menon and STR is back with an untitled film to be started in November, as the formers next movie with Ajith probably takes time as he has to complete Siruthai Siva’s Veeram and also has to undergo leg surgery.Meanwhile, Simbu is working day and night for Pandiraj’s
yet-to-be-titled film so that he could complete major portions of it by November 1st and can join Gautham Menon. “Balu sir's camera work will be sure a treat in Pandiraj’s film,” said STR.“I’m not doing films for name, fame, money, image or anything else, it is only because of my fans,” he concluded.

Simbu is a happy man. The first day of shooting for his new project with Pasanga director Pandiraj seems to have gone off without a hitch. The actor tweeted a picture of himself on camera with “First scene over :)” Sources say that the shoot took place in an apartment near Urapakkam in Chennai. Several scenes that involve Simbu and comedian Soori have been canned by the director.
The Osthe actor had earlier tweeted about the as-yet-unnamed movie saying, “Starting a new project from Monday with Pandiraj. Producing it in my home banner.My brother Kural is scoring the music.” He also added that it was a rom-com but not urban-centric and said that it would be something very different from what we had seen Simbu do earlier.
Simbu also promised his followers that, “All that you expect from me will also be there.” Comedian Santhanam will also be teaming up with Simbu in the movie but the rest of the cast and crew is yet to be finalised. Balasubramaniam is handling the camera. Simbu also tweeted that they were currently in the look-out for a romantic title. Apart from the shooting, Simbu seems busy with accepting wishes and numerous ‘All the best!’ tweets from fans and followers on the micro-blogging site.

Simbu and Upendra's Super heroine Nayanthara were the talk of the town a couple of years back as they were the 'it' couple of Kollywood. The two made several appearances together, but eventually parted ways. Many things were said about the breakup and several speculations were made about what lead to them severing ties. But the two seem to have gotten over the bitterness of the past and have become friends.Several reports indicated that it was Simbu's wayward ways that made Nayan call it quits. Nayan even released a statement to the media, saying she will never work with him again. When pictures of Nayan kissing Telugu star Nagarjuna started doing the rounds, it was alleged that Simbu circulated the pictures to get back at his ex-girlfriend.The two have since found love again — Nayanthara with Prabhu Dheva (the two were to get married but broke up shortly after the announcement was made) and Simbu with Hansika Motwani (they will reportedly tie the knot next year). Looks like time really heals all wounds, as Simbu and Nayan were seen chatting amicably at the success bash of Raja Rani. This sure is a 'super' effort by the former lovers.

Rambha Enters The Screen With Simbu - Indiaglitz
Not so long ago, the youth of South India would not mind to sleep for days together, just to have their favourite girl feature in their dreams. Strutting around Kollywood and Tollywood with a cute charm and innate glam, Rambha was a sensation never forgotten, to date. As the youth of those days have matured a little, so has she, after her marriage to an industrialist, further settling down abroad. But now, she has returned to her mother country with her two and half year old; and her return is not restricted to her motherland alone for, she returns to her yesteryear profession too! Rambha has decided to re-enter the tinsel town and world of glitz, and she has also taken the first step towards it already.
The actress, reportedly, will be making her entry after the hiatus, with STR! In one of his upcoming projects, Simbu has roped in Rambha to play the character of his elder sister. And not just this - the actress says she is looking forward to a break in Tollywood too. However, she has made it clear that she will be doing only roles such as elder sister or a responsible sister-in-law to the lead character, and not any other role. It is rumoured that the reason behind her decision to return is attributed to her separation from her husband.
Simbu dances in Perambur - Behindwoods
The shooting for Vaalu, starring Simbu and Hansika is almost complete. The team was seen in Perambur Binny Mills shooting the opening song. The shoot had lasted for 4 days and is 75 percent complete. Choreographer Sathish has taken charge of choreographing the dance sequences. The shoot for the remaining 25 percent of the song will commence in a couple of days.
Post the completion of this song, there will be one more set song that will be completed in Chennai after which the team will fly abroad to shoot a couple of other songs. The team will wrap up the filming of Vaalu with the completion of the song shoot.
Vaalu is directed by debutant Vijay Chander and is produced by S.S Chakravarthy under the banner Nic Arts. The music has been composed by S. Thaman and the editing is handled by T.S Suresh.
