What does Simbu feel whenever he sees Nayan ..

Idhu Namma Aalu was a 1988 film of K Bhagyaraj with Shobana as the heroine which satisfied quite a lot of the audience. Interestingly, this title is likely to be the name of the Simbu - Nayanthara flick being directed by Pandiraj. According to the director, there would not be any connection between his current film and Bhagyaraj’s product.

Pandiraj explains, “Sometimes when you see someone, something inside will tell you that THIS is the person for you. This is what Simbu feels whenever he sees Nayanthara and in all probability, this will be the final title”.

On working with Simbu and Nayanthara, the director avers that they are true professionals who move with each other without any airs. He adds, “I just tell them the scenes and they bring their own dimensions to the characters. I don’t have to teach them anything”.

If there is one thing common among Silambarasan movies, that is the pre-publicity posters with his beautiful heroine pillion riding with him. Oh and that, with them looping their hand around his shoulder in a 'lest I fall' pose. He has done it in movies after movies and here are a few.

Simbu - Sonia Agarwal: Kovil has Sonia Agarwal pillion riding with Simbu, set in the milieu of a village.

Simbu - Divya Spandana: Kuthu's irrepressible image is that of Simbu and Divya burning the roads with their rides on the bike.

Simbu - Vedhika: Kaalai has the svelte Vedhika sharing Simbu's ride by perching herself elegantly on its pillion.

Simbu and Nayanthara cross the Halfway Mark

Simbu's film with director Pandiraj, co-starring Nayanthara, is being canned at a brisk clip. Close to 50% of the film has already been shot with a lot of talkie scenes featuring Simbu and Nayanthara already done. The song sequences will be shot in the coming weeks.
 
The film is being targeted as a summer release, either in April or May. Simbu's younger brother Kuralarasan will be doing the music for this film. 

Soori and Jayaprakash are the other pivotal characters in the film while Santhanam
might also be roped in for a specific role. Santhanam's involvement in the film
isn't confirmed yet.

Decks cleared for Simbu’s Wedding

Wedding bells are about to chime in at Simbu’s household with his sister Elakkiya’s wedding reception scheduled to be held on the 10th of February 2014 at Hotel Leela Palace in Chennai. Elakkiya will be marrying Abhilash Singapore, son of Indira and Amrutaiah Singapore of Calvary TV Hyderabad.

 Whenever the marriage topic for Simbu was raised, the VTV star was always mentioning that his wedding plans can start only after his sister weds. Now that Elakkiya will be tying the knot, it is evident that all decks pertaining to Simbu’s wedding will be cleared!

''I feel at Ease now with Nayan'', Simbu

Simbu has quite a few good projects that are in various stages of making. One of them is the untitled film of Pandiraj where he is working with Nayanthara. When questioned about this, the VTV hero says, “I am more at ease working with Nayan now. However, when I am saying my lines (to Nayan), the entire unit is looking at us which becomes a bit uncomfortable”.

Reportedly, Simbu had made a trip to the Himalayas and finds himself a changed person after this. His birthday is round the corner (3rd February) and he is quite excited to turn thirty.
 
 On the marriage front, the Vallavan hero is quite diplomatic and says it might happen this year. On the professional side, Simbu will be seen in a cameo in buddy VTV Ganesh’s Inga Enna Solludhu this week and is working in Gautham Menon’s Sattendru Maarudhu Vaanilai and Pandiraj’s project. Vallu and Vettai Mannan also are likely to hit the screens in the coming months.

The Ajith - Andrea factor in Simbu's Vaalu

The music album of Vaalu, Simbu's long-in-the-making rom-com directed by Vijay Chander and co-starring Santhanam and Hansika, will be released on February 14th. The album has been scored by Thaman and will feature 5 songs and a theme music bit. Andrea has also lent her voice to one of the songs.  Simbu has expressed his admiration for the songs in his Twitter space and has increased the expectations surrounding the album. According to the director, the film is "200% confirmed" to release on May 1, which happens to be Ajith's birthday.

Simbu to join Selva in March

Director Selvaraghavan, after the Irandaam Ulagam debacle at the box office, is working hard towards making a hit film. He has signed up Simbu to play the lead role in his next venture and the film is currently in the pre-production stages.This untitled film will go on floors during the month of March and Simbu, in the mean time, will be wrapping up his current assignments and be done with his sister Ilakkiya’s wedding as well.Selva, apart from penning the script for his film, is also scouting for a suitable female lead for Simbu, say sources.
