Simbu & Anirudh lend voices for album

For Madhura Sridhar's latest bilingual project titled 'Back BenchStudent', which has Mahat Raghavendra and Pia Bajpai playing the leads, the music director of the film Sunil Kashyap has managed to successfully rope in two hot singers for the movie'ssoundtrack.It is believed that the multi-talented Simbu has crooned a number for the film, and the title track will carry the voice of the Kolaveri fame Anirudh Ravichander. The film is being produced by Multi-Dimensions Entertainment Pvt. Ltd

SIMBU, ANIRUDH CROON FOR A TELUGU FILM

Almost a year ago, Anirudh teamed up with Dhanush to create Kolaveri…. And now, the music
composer and Love Anthem boy Simbu have crooned a couple of songs, albeit separately, in
Backbench Student, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual featuring their good friend Mahath.
Mahath says, “Music director Sunil Kashyap had come out with some interesting tunes for the
film’s album, and we all thought Simbu and Anirudh would be apt choices to sing two of the
tracks. When I approached them both, they readily agreed. Sunil and I flew down to Chennai
from Hyderabad, where the film is currently being shot, to record the songs. We finished
work on both the tracks in a single night, and flew back to Hyderabad to work on the final
mix.” While Anirudh has sung the title track of the film, directed by Madhura Sreedhar,
Simbu has crooned a peppy, fast-paced number.
Mahath adds, “I’m really glad Simbu and Anirudh agreed to sing for my debut flick in
Tollywood. It’s good to have such supportive friends.”

'Vaalu' nearing fast completion

Simbu gave "Podaa Podi" and it is still on screens while the young star is busy on the sets of Vijay Chander's next comedy film whichis being starred by Simbu, Hansika, Santhanam and VTV Ganesh. A surefire formula of characters to bring the roof downwith laughter. Thaman is scoring for this film of Simbu's.
"Vaalu" is nearing completion at an amazingly brisk pace and the climax fight sequence is being shot with Simbu now. Simbu and his fast paced fights are a thrill forhis fans anyday. The trailer of"Vaalu" has Simbu contradicting avery famous line about level of attraction when seen only familiarly by Dhanush in his older hits. A dialogue of this sort is sureto grab the attention of Dhanush fans, especially after Simbu's and Dhanush's union and promise of friendship is public. Simbu busy with Vaaalu climax fight..!!

Silambarasan aka Simbu is back on the sets of Vaalu, directed by Vijay Chandar. The latest update from the sets of 'Vaalu' is that the climax of this film is being currently shot and the shooting is heading for a wrap anytime now.

The climax fight is being canned, and out from a grueling schedule, the star said that he is completely tired and needs to be energized for the next days' shoot. Simbu tweeted "vaalu climax fight shoot ... Feeling too tired, need some energy now!"

Vaalu is a comedy flick which was originally planned as a Diwali release but had to be postponed because Simbu's Poda Podi was released around that time. Produced by NIC Arts the film has Hansika doing the female lead and Santhanam and VTV Ganesh in important roles. Newbie Vijay Chander is directing this film.

Vaalu is a love story and is about a youngster who lives in the railway quarters in Chennai.The film is expected to be a thorough entertainer.
