STR’s Vaalu Audio Release in April

Silambarasan Rajendar a.k.a STR is busy shooting for his next flick Vaalu under debutant Vijay Chander’s direction. Hansika is playing the main lead and Santhanam is playing a prominent role. Sources say that producers are planning to release Vaalu audio in April and movie is anticipated to hit the screens by May. STR is also busy lending his voice as playback singer for Tamil and Telugu movies. He recently crooned a song in for a top hero in Tollywood under S.S.Thaman’s composition as well as a song in Vallinam. STR is shooting his next flick Vettai Mannan which has Hansika and Jai in the lead roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the tunes for this film and S. S. Chakravarthy is producing this flick under Nic Arts.

Student's power can bring a change - Simbu : IndiaGlitz

 Recently Silambarasan made his presence felt at the protest event against Srilanka, organised by city students. Simbu, who turned up dressed in simple white casual shirt and khaki trouser, was immensely impressed with the efforts put by students to host such an eye-opening protest. He is of opinion that students, who are generally associated with strikes and fights, with this campaign proved that they are also capable of doing constructive activity. "I'm very happy to be part of this campaign organised by these students. I really appreciate to see these young people come together to support such a cause," said Simbu.

Simbu stated that he supports only those events which he thoroughly believes in, and that's the reason why he is there on the protest spot, "I have not come here as a celebrity or as an actor; but only to take part as a common man; as a Tamilian. My father, who kept my name as Silambarasan, had been part of several campaigns that supports Tamil causes." Noticing that there is a Telugu girl in the protest group, Simbu remarked that when she can support for a Tamil campaign, why we as a Tamilian can't be a part of the protest. STR also highlighted the power of students and how it can make a great difference in society. Going by the saying that drop by drop will make a huge ocean; he stated that no matter how small the efforts are, it will gradually grow over to make a big change.

Acknowledging the hardships face by Tamilians in Sri Lanka, the actor signed off saying that he strongly believes that they will surely get a good solution to solve their miseries. It can be noted that Simbu showcased the power of students in his earlier hit film 'Kovil', in which he played a college student.

இலங்கையில் நடந்த இனப்படுகொலை குறித்து சர்வதேச விசாரணைக்கு உத்தரவிட வேண்டும், இலங்கை அதிபர் ராஜபக்சேவை போர்க் குற்றவாளியாக அறிவிக்க வேண்டும் என்பது உள்ளிட்ட கோரிக்கைகளை வலியுறுத்தி மாணவர்கள் போராட்டம் நடத்தி வருகிறார்கள். லயோலா கல்லூரி மாணவர்கள் 8 பேர் ஆரம்பித்த உண்ணாவிரதப் போராட்டம் இன்று தமிழகம் முழுவதும் பரவி வருகிறது. இவர்களுக்கு பல்வேறு அரசியல் தலைவர்களும் ஆதரவு தெரிவித்து வருகின்றனர்.

இந்நிலையில் நடிகர் சிம்புவும் மாணவர்களின் இந்த போராட்டத்திற்கு ஆதரவு தெரிவித்துள்ளார். இன்று சென்னை அம்பேத்கர் சட்டக்கல்லூரி மாணவர்கள் உண்ணாவிரதம் இருக்கும் பந்தலுக்கு சென்ற சிம்பு, அவர்களின் போராட்டத்திற்கு ஆதரவு தெரிவித்ததோடு, மனதை தளரவிடாமல் தைரியமாக இருங்கள் என ஆறுதலும் கூறியுள்ளார்.

நானும் ஒரு தமிழ் பையன்தான். எனக்கும் தமிழுணர்வு இருக்கிறது என்பதற்காகத்தான் இங்கு வந்திருக்கிறேன். மற்றவர்கள் முன்னாடி பேர் வாங்கணும் என்பதற்காக நான் இங்கு வரவில்லை. அந்த பேரை நான் நன்றாக சம்பாதித்து வைத்திருக்கிறேன்.

 எனவே, நானும் ஒரு தமிழனா இருந்து உங்கள் எல்லோருக்கும் ஆதரவா இருக்கணும் என்பதற்காகத்தான் இங்கு வந்தேன். ஆகவே, மனதை தளரவிடாதீர்கள். கண்டிப்பா ஒரு நல்ல விஷயம் நடக்கும்னு நினைக்கிறேன். சின்னதா நடக்குற ஒரு விஷயம்தான் நாளைக்கு பெரிசா மாறும். என்னுடைய ஆதரவு உங்களுக்கு என்றைக்குமே உண்டு. தைரியமாக இருங்கள்.

Mahat Raghavendra, who is playing a lead role in Backbench Student, thanked Simbu for singing a song in his Backbench. He twitted, “Thanx a lot simbu, it's the number one track of last week here!!! Ppl love the track! It's really great that u sang in Telugu!!!” Backbench’s soundtracks are composed by Sunil Kashyap which was launched on February had got good response from the audience. Simbus power mix sung by Simbu is combination of Ilaiyaraja’s music from his days. Simbu known for his singing in Tamilnadu and now he is trying with Telugu audiences. This film is to hit screens on March 15 and features Mahat, Pia Bajpai and Archan kavi. Madhura Sreedhar Reddy directing the film and MVK Reddy is producing it. And the story is loosely based on Chetan’s Revolution 2020.
