STR down with Viral Fever

 

 STR aka Simbu, who was working 24X7 for his next film being directed by his VTV director
Gautham Menon has canceled the shoots as he is suffering from viral fever.On this STR tweeted, “Don't know what happened... system totally collapsed :( fever, cold, headache altogether ... bed rest, medicine nothin is working :(.” As per close sources, STR was shooting some song sequences with choreographer Satish, who was ill, apparently got attacked with the virus.Simbu, the hansdome single of Tamil cinema is busy with Pandiraj's film with Nayantara, working round the clock inorder to finish Gautham Menon's upcoming untitled film and resolved his Vijay Chander directing Vaalu with Hansika.2014 will be a feast to STR fans as he is continuously working to wrap up his films and appears to be having back to back releases in the coming year.

Nayantara Confirmed opposite Simbu: Pandiraj

Nayantara has signed the dotted line to play STR's lady love in their upcoming film being directed and produced by Pandiraj.

“we have searched heroine from long time for our mylaa character now finally we have fixed the heroine that none otherthan nayanthara :-),” confirmed director and producer Pandiraj in his twitter page.

Pasanga Productions presenting STR starrer is yet-to-be-titled, while makers have already started the shooting and wrapped up the first schedule. Meanwhile, STR is busy with untitled Gautham Menon's film.

Post success of Arya's Raja Rani and Ajith's Arrambam, Nayantara will soon join STR after their blockbuster Vallavan in 2006.

Is Nayantara, Simbu's Angel?

 

Speculations in Kollywood tinsel town says, yes, Nayantara is STR's angel for his upcoming untitled Pandiraj's directorial.On Nayantara's 29th Birthday, director and producer Pandiraj wished the actress in his twitter page saying, “Happy birthday 2 angel nayanthara !!!”, this gave a carry over to the reports that earlier stated Nayantara might join Simbu once again after her comback with Ajith's Arrambam.While there is neither denial nor a nod from the makers of STR's film, Simbu fans are going gaga over the reports, as on-screen chemistry of the duo worked big time in Vallavan. Meanwhile, STR is working 24X7 for Gautham Menon's yet-to-be-titled film.

STR's Vaalu Audio in December

SS Chakravarthy of NIC Arts, producer of STR and Hansika starring Vaalu are planning to unveil the films audio in December, following this film will be releasing on February 3, on Simbu's Birthday. Debutant director Vijay is wielding the megaphone for Vaalu , which is under production from quite a while. SS Thaman is roped in to score music for Vaalu and the film has cinematography by Shakthi, while TS Suresh is editing the movie among the crew. Earlier, makers have planned to release Vaalu for 2012 Diwali , however things couldn't take place for unknown reasons. If sources are to be believed STR fans will be in delight,
as they get to see their matinee idol on screen in early 2014.

Simbu’s Rough look for GVM’s next

 

Kollywood grapevine buzzes that Simbu aka STR, who has joined Gautham Menon for their second film together seems to have a rough look in the movie with beard, as the star was spotted with rugged recently at an event.Following the same STR said, "Yes, I’ll be sporting a beard and will be having rough look in my upcoming film with Gautham Menon. This will be a different subject and not be VTV 2," when asked about his appearance in Gautham Menon’s directorial.Simbu and Gautham Menon have joined for a 25 days first schedule of their untitled film in Chennai and they are currently shooting at night. We also hear Gautham Menon has zeroed in a Mumbai based model for STR’s film, but nothing is confirmed on its front.Meanwhile, STR is also doing a romantic entertainer that is being directed and produced Pandiraj on Pasanga Productions banner.

Simbu is doing a lot of night shoot in and around Adyar area in south Chennai for his upcoming action packed film with Gautham Menon. During day time he is working for the Pandiraj film.STR is working for the second time with Gautham after the stupendous success of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya. STR himself has tweeted: “Started shoot for @menongautham untitled movie... its not a sequel of vtv...fresh script with super action and romance... super excited "Meanwhile Simbu’s home production with Pandiraj direction is also progressing fast. The film has STR with a new look and image. The heroine hunt for the film is still going on and will be firmed up in the next few days.

டைரக்டர் மிஷ்கின் இயக்கத்தில் சிம்பு ?

 

முகமூடி படத்தில் சறுக்கியதால் பெரும் ஏமாற்றத்திற்குள்ளான மிஷ்கின், தன் திறமையை நிரூபத்தே ஆகவேண்டும் என்ற இக்கட்டான நிலையில் ஓநாயும் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியும் படத்தை வெளியிட்டு வெற்றியும் பெற்றுவிட்டார். தற்போது அந்த வெற்றியை தக்கவைத்துக்கொள்ளும் முழு முயற்சியில் இறங்கியிருக்கிறார். அதாவது தனது அடுத்த படத்திற்கான வேலையை மும்முரமாக தொடங்கிவிட்டார்.
முந்தைய படத்தை போலவே விறுவிறுப்பான திகில் படம் ஒன்றிற்கு ஸ்கிரிப்ட் எழுதி முடித்துவிட்டார். இந்த படத்தில் ஹீரோவாக யாரை நடிக்க வைப்பதுதான் என்றுதான் குழப்பம் நிலவுகிறது. இவருடைய கதையை கேள்விப்பட்டு கார்த்திக் கெளதம் இவரை சந்தித்து, இந்த கதையில் தான் நடிக்க விரும்புவதாகவும், தனக்கு ஒரு வாய்ப்பு கொடுக்கும்படியும் நேரடியாகவே கேட்டுவிட்டார். ஆனால் மிஷ்கின் இந்த கதையை எழுதும்போதே சிம்புவை வைத்துதான் எழுதியதாகவும், சிம்பு நடிக்காவிட்டால் அடுத்த சாய்ஸ் உனக்குத்தான் என்றும் கூறி அனுப்பிவிட்டார்.
சிம்பு தற்போது வாலு, வேட்டை மன்னன், கௌதம் இயக்கத்தில் மற்றும் பாண்டிராஜ் இயக்கத்தில் ஆகிய படங்களில் நடித்துக்கொண்டிருப்பதால் மிஷ்கினின் புதிய நடிப்பாரா? என்பது சந்தேகம்தான் என்கிறது கோலிவுட் வட்டாரம். ஆனாலும் மிஷ்கின் மிகக்குறுகிய காலத்தில் படத்தை முடித்துவிடுவார் என்பதால் சிம்பு நடிக்க சம்மதிக்கக்கூடும் என்று நம்பப்படுகிறது

STR and Gautham Menon involved in a Fight

As reported earlier, Gautham Menon has started his next project with Simbu in the lead, under his Photon Kathaas banner. Although most of the details are yet to be revealed, our sources have given us some exciting inputs. Firstly, we are informed that this film is not a sequel to Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya.

Unlike earlier reports, Marc Koninckx isn’t helming the camera. Dan MacArthur, who worked in India’s first ever zombie comedy, Go Goa Gone, is cranking the lens for the movie.

The shoot is currently happening during the nights, in and around Kalakshetra, Thiruvanmiyur and Adyar. Gautham and team have started their schedule with an action sequence, being choreographed by Dilip Subbarayan.

Simbu's cameo for Dhanush's film

Dhanush's Wunderbar Films and Vetrimaaran's Grass Root Films are jointly producing Kaakka Muttai, a film based on kids dwelling in slums. This film is being produced in one stretch and by the end of the month, it will be a wrap-up. The release will probably happen in the month of December and the team is confident of bagging many awards. G.V.Prakash has scored music for the movie while Manikandan is directing as well as filming Kaakka Muttai

Now, the big news about this movie is the involvement of Simbu in a cameo role as himself. Yes, Simbu will be appearing as actor Simbu in Kaakka Muttai and being a Dhanush production, the presence of Simbu makes it all the more special.

languages, actor Babu Antony stands tall as an eminent actor in Indian cinema. The actor

Varuvaayaa and Kanchana.In conversation with the actor, we got some interesting information about his upcoming movies and his experience working in the Tamil industry.

Q : The first question that anyone would ask a tall person is "What's your height", even

A : 6'3" (He interrupts and laughs)

Q : You're working in Kaakka Muttai at the moment. Can you tell us your role in the movie?
 
A : The movie is based on kids in the slum and about their dreams. I am not allowed to tell
the story. But I am playing the central character of a big business man who is planning to
start his business where the slum area is. It disrupts their lives and becomes a big
problem in the media. It is a very interesting story. Simbu is playing a guest appearance
in the movie. I have a combination scene with him. It was nice meeting Simbu again after
working in Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. He has been very friendly with me and was very happy
to see me again. I was happy to see him again too.

STR’s Gautham Menon film started

It is known that Vinnaythaandi Varuvaayaa combo of STR and Gautham Menon is back with their
upcoming untitled film. Latest on it is the duo started working on their next movie from
yesterday .Simbu joined Gautham Menon in Chennai on November 12th for the first schedule of this film
probably for 10 days. Bulgarian cinematographer Marc Koninckx of Dhanush’s Mariyaan fame is
roped in for this Yet-to-be-titled STR starrer.At the same time, STR is also doing Pandiraj’s directorial being produced by latter’s home banner Pasanga Productions. Likewise, Gautham Menon will head to Ajith’s AM Ratnam producing film after this Simbu’s quickie.

Simbu's not doing Govindaya Namaha Tamil Remake

 

Pavan Wadeyar's Govindaya Namaha, which starred Komal and Parul Yadav is high on demand for remakes. Manchu Manoj was open to do the movie in Telugu after he saw the Kannada version and made Pavan himself direct the film titled as Potugadu in Telugu. With the storyline and songs making the film a hit in Telugu, there were rumours that Dhanush would do the Tamil remake of the film. However, the latest news is that Simbu has been approached to do the Tamil remake of Govindaya Namaha, who even recorded for a peppy number for the Telugu version. It has also been reported that a new director will be roped into direct the Tamil version as Pavan his busy with his own film. But when we contacted Simbu, he said that he is not doing the Tamil version. "No, I am not doing the film and I haven't even seen the film yet.More over, I have no dates for a while as well," says Simbu. The actor is currently gearing up for the release of Vaalu, which has Hansika Motwani as the female lead. The film also marks the debut of Kannada actor Aditya, who plays the villain in Vaalu. "The producers are looking for a solo release and that's the reason why the audio function has been put on hold. The film is likely to hit the screens on late December or January," informs Simbu.
