STR gets big talent for Manmadhan 2
There is good news for STR fans as he is going ahead with Manmadhan 2. STR has penned the script himself and it is likely to be a sequel. Rajiv Menon will be the cinematographer for this project. Work will commence once STR finishes work on pending projects like Poda Podi, Vaalu and Vettai Mannan. Manmadhan was a Tamil romantic thriller with STR in double role. The film had Jyothika, Sindhu Tolani, Goundamani and Atul Kulkarni. Santhanam made his debut in this film in a supporting role.

சிம்பு, வரலட்சுமி நடித்து வரும் போடா போடி படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு அண்மையில் ஹாங்காங்கில் டிஸ்னி லேண்டில் நடைபெற்றுள்ளது.டிஸ்னி லேண்டில் நடைபெற்ற முதல் இந்தியப் படத்தின் சூட்டிங் இது தான் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
இது குறித்து சிம்பு கூறுகையில் : நான் சிறு வயதில் இருந்து பார்த்து ரசித்த கார்ட்டூன் கேரக்டர்களுடன் ஆடிப்பாட வாய்ப்பு கிடைக்கும் என நான் சிறிதும் நினைக்கவில்லை. டிஸ்னி லேண்ட் சூட்டிங் அனுபவம் மிகவும் பிரமாண்டமானது. அங்கு சூட்டிங் நடத்துவதற்கு அனுமதி பெற 90 நாட்கள் காத்திருந்தோம். பாடல் சூட்டிங் குறித்த முழுமையான விளக்கத்தை அளித்த பின்னரே அனுமதி கிடைத்தது.இந்தப் பாடல் ரசிகர்கள் மத்தியில் நல்ல வரவேற்பை பெறும் என நம்புகிறேன் என்றார்.

தொடர்ச்சியாக என் படங்களில் நடிக்க ஹன்சிகாவுக்கு நான் சிபாரிசு செய்யவில்லை என்கிறார் சிம்பு. சிம்பு நடிக்கும் ‘வேட்டை மன்னன்' படத்தை தொடர்ந்து ‘வாலுÕ படத்திலும் ஹீரோயினாக நடிக்கிறார் ஹன்சிகா மோத்வானி. சிம்புவின் சிபாரிசால் மீண்டும் ஹன்சிகா தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டார் என்று கோலிவுட்டில் பேசப்படுகிறது. இது பற்றி சிம்பு கூறியதாவது: இப்போதெல்லாம் சந்தோஷமாக இருக்கிறீர்களே... யாரையாவது காதலிக்கிறீர்களா? என்கிறார்கள். நான் சந்தோஷமாக இருந்தால் மற்றவர்களுக்கு சங்கடமாக இருக்கிறதோ என்னவோ? இந்த உலகத்தில் எனக்காக ஒருத்தி பிறந்திருப்பாள். அவரை இன்னும் கண்டுபிடிக்கவில்லை. அவரை கண்டுபிடிக்கும்வரை எனது தேடல் தொடரும். இப்போதைக்கு நடிப்பு, நடிப்பு, நடிப்புதான்.
‘வாலு' படம் தொடங்குகிறது. சமீபத்தில் இப்படத்திற்காக ஹன்சிகா, சந்தானத்துடன் பங்கேற்ற போட்டோ ஷூட்டும், சிறிய டிரெய்லரும் தயாரானது. விரைவில் அது வெளியிடப்படும். ‘வேட்டை மன்னன்Õ படத்தின் முக்கிய காட்சிகள் படமாக்கப்பட்டுவிட்டன. வெளிநாட்டில் படமாக்க வேண்டிய நீண்ட ஷூட்டிங் பாக்கி இருக்கிறது. வாலு படத்தில் ஹன்சிகா மீண்டும் ஹீரோயினாக நடிக்க சிபாரிசு செய்தது ஏன் என்கிறார்கள். அவருக்கு நான் சிபாரிசு செய்யவில்லை. அதற்கு எனக்கு அவச¤யமில்லை. இயக்குனர்தான் ஹன்சிகாவை தேர்வு செய்தார். வாலு படம் காமெடி மற்றும் யூத்தை மையமாக வைத்து உருவாகிறது. இப்படத்திற்கு ஹன்சிகா பொருத்தமாக இருப்பார் என்று இயக்குனர் தீர்மானித்து தேர்வு செய்தார். இவ்வாறு சிம்பு கூறினார்.
STR : Podaa Podi, Vaalu and then Vettai Mannan
Silambarasan aka Simbu has been in the news constantly for has he has signed a number of promising projects and is juggling between them without a break. However an order of his releases became quite a debate among those in the industry and his fans.Speaking up on this he says, "Podaa Podi will release first, followed by Vaalu and then Vettai Mannan. There's only one song pending to be canned in Podaa Podi and it will be ready for a release after June. Vaalu teaser and first look will be out soon, I am working with Hansika and Santhanam for this film. Vettai Mannan has a long abroad schedule pending".
Industry insiders have it that 'Podaa Podi' that sees Simbu in three stages of life will release in August and that 'Vaalu' will be a Diwali release and 'Vettai Mannan' a Pongal release. Post these films he will join hands with Vetrimaaran for 'Vada Chennai'.
It looks like Simbu's fans are in for a treat what with the number of varied films in the pipeline!

It is no longer news that Silambarasan aka STR and Hansika Motwani are coming together for comedy caper 'Vaalu' which will be helmed by newbie Vijay. As per reliable sources, the teaser has been shot and edited and a photo shoot was also wrapped for the first look of this film.A dialogue scene featuring Simbu and Santhanam is said to be the highlight of the teaser trailer.However the actual shoot of the film will go on floors in a couple of months once Simbu wraps work on his current projects, 'Podaa Podi' and 'Vettai Mannan'.The film has music by Thaman and brings to big screen the hit combo of Simbu, VTV Ganesh and Santhanam. It is slated to release on Diwali and is being produced by Nic Arts that's also producing Simbu's 'Vettai Mannan' next Pongal.The 'Vettai Mannan' teaser created good impact among audience, we'll have to wait to see if 'Vaalu' will match up to the expectations as well...

A song high on feeling and Silambarasan is a past master at infusing his heart and soul into any song that he sings. The way the song begins at high pitch is terrific. STR’s singing style is not text-bookish but it appeals for sure. This short number on friendship is trendy and might strike a chord with youngsters

'Vaalu' to roll with STR & Hansika!
Albeit a few rumours were doing the rounds earlier regarding the female lead of 'Vaalu', nothing was confirmed. Now, it's as good as official that Hansika Motwani is the female lead of this comedy caper.
Speaking exclusively to IndiaGlitz.com Simbu says, "Hansika will be cast opposite me in Vaalu. The film will be by Nic Arts and it's a commercial entertainer loaded with comedy, I cannot divulge more details now".
The movie will bring together the hit trio of STR, his dear pall VTV Ganesh and Santhanam.It may be mentioned Simbu's forthcoming 'Vettai Mannan' also features Hansika Motwani in a pivotal role, although not as his lady love.
Produced by Nic Arts, 'Vaalu' will be directed by newbie Vijay. Thaman S will be scoring the music. The film will go on floors shortly; a photo shoot featuring the lead will take place shortly.
