SIMBU TO TIE THE KNOT!

Though he is yet to zero in on his girl, Kollywood’s most eligible bachelor says he will be getting hitched next yearLooks like the romantic hero on-screen has finally succumbed to commitment in real life! Simbu created a stir on Sunday when he let the world know he was getting hitched. So, who’s the girl? “I’m yet to find her but I have agreed to get married in 2013. My mom has asked me to let her know if I like someone, else she will choose a bride for me,” he says.

But, right now, he himself is not sure if he will find that someone special soon. “I do know one thing — she has to very, very pretty because I want cute kids,” he laughs.Ask him if he has his sights on any actress and he says, “As of now, no.” As for when he was in love last he says, “It’s been six years since I was in a relationship. I was in love in 2009 but it was one-sided. I’ve had enough fun and travelled all over the world and done everything I wanted to. I have no regrets today but marriage does scare me. I love kids and I want to settle down and have kids now.”
Guess the time spent in the US with his baby nephew has turned this hero into a doting wannabe dad!

Even flights wait for STR

The latest on STR is that he did the photo shoot in Chennai yesterday for a soft drink brand for which he is the brand ambassador. Now the buzz that’s going around is how even an airlines flight waited for the hero.

Rumour mills are abuzz that for the video shoot of the ad film for the same soft drink that was held at Hyderabad sometime ago, STR was late and he was about to miss the flight. A top official of the soft drink company apparently intervened and kept the flight waiting at the airport for more than 15 minutes for STR. The stories did not stop there. In Hyderabad, it was STR and Allu Arjun who had shot for the ad film in Tamil and Telugu. While STR was very cool and did the dance sequences one by one, Allu Arjun went on to do the dance steps in one take much to the delight of the shooting crew.

Sources say that, however, when the final output came, not only the crew, but also the heads of the company were astonished to see the dazzling way in which STR had rocked in the advertisement. It has to be noted that this is the first time the star is doing a television commercial, despite his popularity.

was released written by STR. This should have definitely given a chill in the spine for the
girls who should have definitely given a thought on why a bachelor wrote such lines . That
too from a writer whose previous songs were youthful peppy numbers such as Evan di una
pethaan and where is the party.

Yes STR is open for marriage.The most eligible bachelor down south has accepted to tie the
knot next year. He has not yet opened up much on the fact that it would be a love or
arranged marriage. Though he has confirmed that currently he is not seeing anyone. As he
says ” Kathala thedi poga mudiyathu athuva nadakanum nammala potu thaakanum”, no one canpredict when love strikes some one. But whether or not it strikes him he is gonna tie the
knot next year because that is his mom’s request. And STR has obeyed it .The reason for the acceptance is widely believed to be the below. STR has lately shown a lotof love and bond towards children. Starting from the sets of Poda podi , the film in which a kid plays a major role. To the time he spent with Samarth in Los Angels where he went to finish the Love Anthem for world Peace. His love for children slowly evolved into a affinity towards having a family of his own and children of his own and thus he has readily accepted for marriage.

So what kind of a girl does he want ?. Just like he said in a famous interview, he doesn’t
want a girl who would merely serve lunch and dinner for him but some one who inspires him tolive. Some one who redefines his life to himself . And what kind of a husband would he be,
again as he had written in his song he would even be the one who takes the role of taking
care in the couple. So girls out there get ready , its the time of the year where the

STR has finally arrived to the world of advertisements . The STaR who was approached previously by many brands for huge prices , has finally accepted to endorse 7 up. The reason he states for the current move is that unlike endorsing brands for mere money he says he believes that to endorse a brand one has to love it and actually be a fan for that brand in real life and 7 up is one of his favourite cool drinks. Addition to it STR was told by the producers that 7 up would conduct dance competitions in South India as a part of the ad campaign thus not only promote the brand but also the passion for dance. It is well known that STR is a ardent dancer. He naturally supports the cause. And with two dancers who set the stage on fire whenever the move their legs STR and Allu Arjun being the brand ambassadors 7 up is making a statergic move with its promotions.

STR in his recent interview to Deccan Chronicle has opened up about his pet project ” Love Anthem for World Peace”. He has said that Love Anthem would not be a single song but a album comprising of 6 to 10 songs. And the songs would be released at the gap of 2 months between each other. Further he has added that international singers like Akon Rihanna are on talks for the project. He has also said that he has planned to resume vigorous shooting for his films which have been stalled fr the production of Love anthem. He has also mentioned that he is looking forward to work with Vetrimaran for Vada chennai.

Recently was questioned by Few reporters on why he gets connected to controversies easily. STR replied with ease that he doesn’t prefer to be diplomatic or act as some other when he is questioned, he added that he would always prefer to be what he is and stamp down authoritatively stating his stance firmly on the question . And thus people would know who he is and he feels it would be better to have fans who know who he is and still love him and rather act in front of fans .

STR gets back to his hunting ground

STR got back to acting in films and it felt like honey slipping on his ears when he heard the words ” START,CAMERA,ACTION “. As he tweeted with glee “Back to shoot after like almost 2 months !!! Feels so grt to hear start camera action :) ” It was hard work for STR for the last two months as he completed the Love Anthem for World peace . He was very cautious and worked with grit and determination to sculpt properly his step,stride towards World peace and harmony. Thus on the mean time he had to push aside his acting commitments for the films Poda Podi , Vettai mannan and Vada Chennai to shift his concentration towards one side. Now having finished his work STR has powerfully announced his comeback to the shooting arena his favorite hunting ground. Here is wishing STR all the best for his succesful hunt.

There is no typical intro " Kutthu" number for the hero. But there is a suitable intro song penned by STR and the director Vignesh Siva, which begins with the lyrics Love Pannalaama Vendaama that is also sung by STR

Pooda podi.. Its a film which travels through 3 phases of a boy and a girl's life. So the amount of time taken to finish the film wil not be equal to the time taken for the completion of any other film. Moreover the film was entirely shot in London and only during a particular season, for the look and feel of the film and there is baby in the film which was originally shot while birth time and its 6 month old time too.
