There were earlier reports that Shruthi Haasan will be crooning this item song. STR told sify.com: “Kalasala song is going to be a rocker. All of us including dad, Dharani and Thaman felt that the song will become as catchy and popular, like the original. LR Eswari has given that extra edge to that song.” The buzz is that LR Eswari- T Rajendran combo will make the theatre come alive through the item song picturised on Mallika Sherawat, Sonu Sood and STR. Remember, LR was one time in the roaring 60’s and 70’s the most popular singer rendering numbers picturised as cabarets or folk songs.
