STR’s Brother Kuralarasan as Music Composer

Silambarasan’s (STR) younger brother Kuralarasan is debuting in Kollywood soon as music
director. Pandiraj of Pasanga and Marina fame will wield the megaphone for the film and
Simbu will play the lead role.Touted to be a romantic comedy entertainer, the untitled film will be produced by STR’s home production Simbu Cine Arts. A top heroine is in consideration for the female lead role and the romantic film will be on the lines of Simbu’s memorable hit Vinnaithadi Varuvaaya.The script work for the film is currently in progress and an official announcement is expected. In the meantime, STR is busy with the song shoot of VTV Ganesh and Meera Jasmine starrer Enge Enna Sollathu taking place in London.

STR Fights in a Railway Station

Director Vijay Chander has said that he is currently shooting a fight sequence featuring
Simbu in a railway station near Hyderabad. Simbu's fight which is being choreographed by
Kanal Kannan would be one of the highlights of Vaalu says the director. The shooting of
Vaalu resumed last week in Hyderabad is progressing at a brisk pace. Vaalu is a love story
laced generously with comedy starring Simbu, Hansika and Santhanam in the lead.
The comedy entertainer has music by Thaman. The film has long been in the making and has
been experiencing issues from the production house and the dates of the artistes involved.
Looks like the film is set to be wrapped with this final schedule in Hyderabad. There has
been good response to the single track teaser of this romantic entertainer that was
released recently. Vaalu is a love story and is about a youngster who lives in the railway
quarters in Chennai.

Sun Pictures Bags Vaalu Rights

Vaalu starring STR in the lead role has been under production from long time and finally the shooting schedules have commenced after the producers sorting out the issues.Vijay Chander, the director of the film and producers are aiming for festival release. Now, Sun Pictures has bagged the distribution rights of the film which leads Sun TV earning the film’s satellite rights. It’s the first time Sun pictures is releasing a Simbhu film. Vaalu is expected to have a wide release with good promotional activities after Sun network entering the picture.Hansika is playing the female lead and Santhanam, VTV Ganesh will be seen in prominent roles. The film has cinematography by Shakthi and editing by TS Suresh. Thaman is the music composer of the film.
