STR is a gift to any director: Vignesh Shivan

"He is a gift to any director. Everyone is under the false perception that he interferes too much. But he is actually very involved as an actor. He never once questioned if I could deliver and had complete confidence in me," this is what debutant director Vignesh Shivan had to say about his lead star STR in Podaa Podi. When asked about his mentors in the industry, he said, "I consider both Mani Ratnam and A. R. Rahman to be my mentors though I have not met the former."
