The title issue has been a frequent problem being faced by the directors coming up with films casting the big stars. Coming to STR's Vaalu, director Vijay Chandar clarified, "I've registered the Vaalu title since four years ago...Apparently, Pranav Productions launched their debut film titled Vaalu. The film, which went on floors, recently stars Akhil, Saranya, thambi ramaiah, kovai sarala & more...Mean while, Simbu's Vaalu which also stars Hansika & Santhanam in lead roles, was launched a few months ago and the film will hit theatres this Diwali.
STR will be taking part in a special song sequence in Santhanam's maiden production venture,Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya (KLTA). Remember STR and Santhanam have formed a terrific comedy combo in many films like Vaanam, Manmadhan, Silambaattam to name a few. Santhanam is an integral part of STR's forthcoming films like Vaalu as well.KLTA co-stars Power Star Srinivasan opposite Santhanam and is expected to be a laugh riot all the way. This songsequence will be shot over the next two days in Binny Mills near the Chennai airport. Thaman scores the music for this movie which is co-produced by Ramanarayanan. STR aka Silambarasan surprised Naan Ee star Kiccha Sudeep visiting him in Bangalore on Sep 2nd and wished the ultimate baddie a very Happy Birthday, as the star turns 39. Latest to join his friends list is Sudeep Kiccha, after Manchu Manoj and Dhanush. Remember earlier Simbu happened to attend the audio launch event of Sudeep’s Kannada movie ‘Just Math Mathalli’ in 2009, which seems both share good friendship. Nevertheless, almost all the famous personalities from south has wished Sudeep Kiccha on his Birthday, as Sudeep was recently very famous through his performance in Naan Ee / Eega / Eecha.
We hear that the young actor played good Samaritan at Chennai airport on last Sunday night.STR who flew from Mumbai where he was shooting made a quick visit to Bangalore for his good friend Kannada superstar Sudeep’s birthday bash.And when his flight landed in Chennai there was this 80-year old elderly man who was looking very tired, waiting for the wheel-chair to come. Without batting an eyelid, STR carried the old man in his arms down the stairs and headed straight to the airline bus waiting outside. All the passengers especially women where truly floored by this instant action of a big star like Simbu. Simbu aka STR is requesting media to stop spreading the news about his forthcoming ventureManmadhan 2, sequel of his Manmadha.A section of media in the Kollywood tinsel town is reporting about Manmadhan 2 that is to bewritten, directed and donned by multi-faceted Silambarasan. But the star actor Simbu isasking to stop this all, on this STR tweeted in his micro-blogging page as, “I pls requestmedia to stop writing news abt manmadan 2 because nothing has been confirmed yet and i have to finish the script work 1st”Presently STR is lined up with his earlier commitments such as Podaa Podi with VaralakshmiSarathkumar, Vaalu with Hansika and Santham, which are to be released by this year end.
