Simbu to act in Vedam Telugu remake

An movie, well respected and well praised by the critics VEDAM had a huge story line and characterization. The Telugu movie, starring the Current Sensation "Simbu's Friend" Manchu Manoj, Allu Arjun and Anoushka, took away every ones heart. The movie that was released last month is already grossing huge revenue.

Directed by Radha Krishna, the music is scored by the traditional specialist MM. Keeravaani. The movie is now set to be remade in Tamil with the same cast and crew except for a small change, with our Thalaivan replacing Allu Arjun in the movie. Simbu will play the role of a cable guy in the movie, and will have Santhanam accompanying him all through.

Sources also indicate, that this movie will be released very much soon, even before Pooda Podi as it requires a very little time to shoot this movie.

Do you Guys/Gals know that Pooda Podi is the first Tamil movie ever to have a audition in Europe? Yes, it is true that it is the first movie to have ever achieved that name. The Producer Padam Kumar and Gemini Films conducted the Audition at Bayswater, London along with the Director Vignesh Shiva and Choreographer of the movie Flexy Stu.


The participants were from different countries and I was able to witness Ballet Dancers from England, Russia and France showing the presence with their skills. Later at the end of the day, we got to see the Tamil talents in the names of Club style dancing, Street Dance, Free Style, and Western. Auditions also took place for the Supportive Characters and there were quite a few aspiring talents.

The day ended with a party and the Production team did a splendid job of keeping the mood on. The Production team are still in search of aspiring artiste's for Supportive roles, and thanks to Facebook we are getting in enormous applications.

After a hard look out for the lead role to be played opposite Yss Silambarasan, the production team as finalized Tamanah aka Tamu. With the Director confirming the information to a leading news paper, Tamanah is now formally joining the team. Sources have indicated that Tamanah will have a 25 day call sheet for the team. She will play the role of a Law College Grad. Sources also indicate that she will have to shed some extra weight to make a good presence with Simbu. It is noted that, this is the first film for Simbu and Tamanah to act together. It is also said the movie is titled Vada Chennai and the story revolves in and around Chennai, and the hero is portrayed as a son born to a Maarwaadi Father and a Tamil House Maid. We still have not got the confirmations, but our sources still remain strong and evident. It is said, that Karthik Sivakumar was first approached and that he was later replaced by Simbu.
