STR dances with Anushka & Santhanam

STR is a very upbeat man these days.
He is busy completing the last song of Vaanam and that too with the hot ‘n’ happening Anushka in Chennai.
Ganesh the producer of the film is blowing up money as a lavish set has been put up at the AVM studio where this peppy song is being shot.
It is choreographed by Baba Bhaskar who has done Kilimanjaro from Enthiran.
The song- “No money, No Honey” is a lively fast number and everyone is having a ball shooting for it.
STR told sify.com: “It is total fun and galatta on the sets while picturising the song. Ganesh and Santhanam are also shaking a leg with me and Anushka. There is so much of positive
vibes and the song is turning out to be a rocking one”.
With this song, Vaanam is complete and Cloud Nine will be releasing the film on April 9 worldwide.

Ace Dir Dharani to direct STR?

If sources are true, we can expect ace Director Dharani of Ghilli and Dhool fame to direct STR in the remake of the Super hit Bollywood flick Dabaang.It was initially said that Director Saravanan of Silambaatam fame would do the direction, now it is said, that Director Dharani as been approached to the same.It is well known that Dharani, a master of handling commercial cinema like Dhool, Dil and Ghilli is the best option to remake Dabaang, which is cut and out Commercial entertainer.We wish the Director to succeed in directing the visual, commercial entertainer and to give the most expected verdict : Block buster with Dabaang.

Kajal Agarwal or Sonam Kapoor?

As usual this Silambarasan film too is creating anxieties even before it is officially launched. The Tamil remake of the Hindi Block buster Dabaang is keeping Thalaivan Silambarasan on the edge.
Apparently Simbu has rejected the choice of Kajal Agarwal as the heroine ‘according to Indiaglitz’. Sources say Silambarasan is looking for a top heroine from Bollywood and extra efforts are taken on his behalf to convince Sonam Kapoor to sign on the dotted line.

Exclusive: Vaanam Audio launch only on 21st

Vaanam seems to be crossing all hurdles. With Vaanam audio supposed to be released on 15th of this month, STR conveyed that the Audio launch would indeed be postponed to 21st of this month pushing from a week as announced before.
The reason is said to be the that Venus the recording labels have got a huge number of orders from the Shops and they have to cope up with the expectations with the extra special Audio cover and details in it. The Audio track list as announced before is now changed and the new audio track list will be available in a day or two at Simbucentral as exclsuive content.
We at Simbucentral convey sorry, for the wrong info that we gave earlier regards to the Audio track list, but that was done to bring in a hype. And as said we will release the track list in next day or two – The official ones.

Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya: A Fairy tale love.

We ve heard of the Romeos and Juliet from the west, but only last year on the same day we saw them come to reality on screen in Tamil cinema.
A fairytale love story, narrated by Gautam Vasudev Menon , enacted by Young superstar STR and Trisha , Vinnai thaandi varuvaaya captured many hearts and won many laurels even from the toughest critics. It was praised by Iyakkunar sigaram K balachander to have given life to his memories of love. But why was that really possible , Simbucentral does a research on VTV -
1. Haptics – the science of touch was subtly used by the director to create a feel to the audience, which even million words would not create, the scene where simbu holds trisha’s legs in the train, expressing he would keep the world under her feet and the scene where simbhu holds trisha’s hands tightly during manippaya song’s lines “Enakathu thalai anai, nanaithidum neramm” conveying that he will be with her through all troubles were brilliantly executed in this film..
2. Fingers in our hands are well enough to count the number of films, which portrayed the present day’s confusing love this perfectly.
The inability of the modern day girl to take a decision during crunch time was unbelievably brought in screen by the director and the heroine!
3. In a day where love has been degrade and its stature being diminished to being a tool to attain money and fun , Vinnai thaandi varuvaaya was a inspiration for every youth to fall in love, pure love blindly and to all who are addicted to other temporary pleasures, vtv managed to convey a strong message that pure love is the greatest pleasure a man can go through..
4. Another striking aspect in this film which attracted brightly was the use of colours. If you clearly watch each and every scene of the film some aspect or the other will be in blue or white. ( eg: Simbhu’s shirt or Trisha’s saree)
5. Music and Lyrics – If Gautam Vasudev Menon created the perfect love body on earth A R rahman gave soul to it. Who can forget the bgm’s which gave blankness when karthik sees Jessie first, the comicality during the KFC conversation , the tension during interval block, the anger during break up. If BGM’S weaved love all over the film, songs poured love with Hosanah, shattered a woman’s silence with kanukkul , pleaded with mannippaya and re gave memories a life with Aaromale.
6. Some real life duplicates – I’m happy to have numerous friends who say happily that it was not simbu but its them, who is karthik, this connection was beautifully brought out by gautam with scenes like simbu falling on the gate when he sees her , when he plays with the ropes of the washing clothes in terrace when waiting for her sight and goes with a long drive in his bike to regain the past memories.. plain brilliance
7. Last but not the least the combination of cinematography and editing was top notch . For a film to succeed you need this partnership to cross a hundred and they did it the Shewag way .. amazing .. the blue of the sea , the silence of the church , the beauty of the moon were shot with love by manoj. And editing was spell bounding when Antony showed the days karthik waited for jessie at the same place when one continous scene was made by a transition of different clothing….
We end this never ending research by saying VTV was nothing short of a magic which was weaved by this crew in a month known for love – FEBRAUARY and we thank each and every one of you for making this a ever green movie.

Coffee with Gowtham: STR with Sameera

This was one of the most celebrated Coffee show ever that was screened. With Ace Director Goutham Vasudev Menon taking over as the Host of the show to promote his much hyped Pschyopath thriller Nadunisai Naaigal starring his assistant Veera and Sameera Reddy.
Goutham went on speaking about his movie and its inspiration and the creator of it Bharathi Raja. They shared some lighter moments and praised each other. Later STR was hosted by Goutham and was put up questions on his Ever Green Box office hit Manmathaun. STR expressed his views on Pschyo genre movies and the problems that he faced acting in it.
Later, Goutham invited Sameera to the sets and they all had a fun time speaking about the movie Nadunisai Naaigal. A must watch for all movie lovers.
Well the rapid question round at the end is the best. With STR answering questions as tough as on choosing between Yuvan and A.R.Rahman, or questions on answering on between Ilayathalapathy and Thala

Fanz Thrills on STR's Answers

STR got injured

STR Silambarasan , has hurt himself in chennai where they were shooting for Vaanam. It happened when STR who was supposed to drive the bike fitted with a Camera in front of it lost the balance and sled to one side making it hard for STR to control the bike crashing him down with full force. It happened in a busy road and the entire crew where shocked for a moment, as the shot was taken in live traffic.

STR with his quick presence of mind crawled to the pedestrian, avoiding the car that was racing behind him. He has injured his legs and hands and was treated for bruises and cut wounds.

Later STR was driven back home and asked to take rest. Hearing on their Hero who was injured, Fans thronged his house at Tnagar which led to few drastic scenes, when STR came out and conveyed the message that he his doing better and he his tired and he needs to take rest. Hearing STR's voice and him physically speaking the Fans wished him a speedy recovery and went back home.

The Doctor has advised to take rest for 4 - 5 days, which will indeed harp the shooting of Vaanam.
